The scarlet Letter

The Scarlet Letter sounds juicy. Juicy:interesting,drama filled, makes you want to cry and then slap somebody.I am interested in reading this book. It sounds like a compelling story about a woman who committed adultery .Adultery is indeed a sin but the public humiliation and mistreatment was very uncalled for. There might be a lot of different outlooks and point of views on this story. Maybe someone thinks she kind of deserved it, maybe someone else thinks here trail was an unncesary punishment for getting pregnant by a man who she wasnt married to.
